Jaguar I-Pace ADAS Calibration

The Jaguar I-Pace carries one of the most sensor-dense ADAS configurations in the JLR range – cameras, radar, and ultrasonics across every panel of this all-electric SUV. With no engine noise to mask safety system alerts, I-Pace owners notice Drive Assist warnings immediately when something's off. ADAS calibration for your I-Pace, from £199, at 70+ UK workshops.

Drive Assist Systems on the Jaguar I-Pace

The I-Pace launched in 2018 on a bespoke EV platform (not shared with F-Pace or E-Pace):

Full Drive Assist suite (all model years): Adaptive Cruise Control with Steering Assist, Emergency Braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Rear Traffic Monitor, Driver Condition Monitor, ClearSight Ground View, and ClearSight rear-view mirror.

Sensor layout: The I-Pace's flat EV floor and unique front end (no traditional grille) mean the front radar sits behind the lower bumper section – not behind a grille badge like other JLR models. The absence of an engine bay changes the front crash structure, so even minor impacts can reach sensor mounting points.

EV-specific consideration: Miscalibrated forward radar can cause Emergency Braking to interact unpredictably with regenerative braking – creating jerky deceleration that feels like phantom braking. Proper radar calibration resolves this.

When Your I-Pace Needs ADAS Calibration

After collision repair: The I-Pace's aluminium body structure is repaired differently from steel-bodied vehicles. After front-end work, both the radar sensor and windscreen camera need verification – collision calibration covers both.

After windscreen replacement: Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitor depend on the windscreen camera. The I-Pace's specific camera mounting angle means precision matters – this is our £199 windscreen calibration service.

After body panel or mirror work: ClearSight Ground View cameras in the door mirrors and tailgate need recalibration if these panels are replaced. If your 360° view shows stitching errors, the cameras need repositioning. Read more about how ADAS calibration works.

Jaguar I-Pace Calibration Pricing

ServicePrice
Windscreen Calibration£199
Radar/Sensor Calibration£349
Collision Calibration£349

The I-Pace's sensor density across every body panel means collision repairs often affect multiple systems at once – our £499 Full System Reset is the most thorough option when front radar, windscreen camera, and surround cameras all need attention.

Jaguar I-Pace ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Jaguar I-Pace

No. The ADAS sensors — radar, cameras, ultrasonics — are calibrated using the same OEM-grade diagnostic tools regardless of powertrain. What differs is the I-Pace's sensor placement due to its unique EV platform, which our technicians account for during calibration. See all Jaguar models we calibrate.
