Jeep Compass ADAS Calibration

The Jeep Compass sits at a platform crossroads – the current model uses the FCA Small Wide platform with LaneSense and ParkSense, while the new 2026 Compass moves to Stellantis STLA Medium with full Active Driving Assist. Both generations carry front radar behind the bumper and a windscreen camera, but the ADAS branding, diagnostic protocols, and calibration targets differ. If your dashboard shows "LaneSense unavailable" after a bumper repair, the radar needs recalibration.

Common Compass ADAS Triggers

After Bumper Repair

The front radar behind the bumper powers ACC and Forward Collision Warning. Any bumper work – collision repair, respray, sensor replacement – shifts the radar. LaneSense and ACC faults appear on the dashboard. Radar calibration at £349 restores both.

After Windscreen Replacement

LaneSense, Lane Keep Assist, TSR, and ISA all use the windscreen camera. After glass replacement, our £199 Windscreen Calibration recalibrates all camera-dependent systems.

"LaneSense Unavailable" Warning

This FCA-era dashboard message means the windscreen camera has lost calibration. Common after windscreen replacement, but can also appear after vibration or minor impacts near the camera mounting area.
