Yes. The current Compass and Renegade share the FCA Small Wide platform with the same LaneSense, ACC, and BSM hardware. Calibration procedures are very similar. Both also share platform DNA with the Fiat 500X.

Will the new 2026 Compass have different calibration?

Yes. The 2026 Compass on STLA Medium will use Stellantis Active Driving Assist rather than FCA-era LaneSense. Different sensor positions and calibration targets. Our equipment covers both platforms — FCA-era and Stellantis-era Jeep systems.

What is LaneSense on a Jeep Compass?

LaneSense is Jeep's FCA-era name for its lane departure and lane keeping system. It uses a forward-facing camera behind the windscreen. "LaneSense unavailable" means the camera needs recalibration — typically after windscreen replacement or a front-end impact. The Jeep Compass sits at a platform crossroads – the current model uses the FCA Small Wide platform with LaneSense and ParkSense, while the new 2026 Compass moves to Stellantis STLA Medium with full Active Driving Assist. Both generations carry front radar behind the bumper and a windscreen camera, but the ADAS branding, diagnostic protocols, and calibration targets differ. "LaneSense Unavailable" Warning

This FCA-era dashboard message means the windscreen camera has lost calibration. Common after windscreen replacement, but can also appear after vibration or minor impacts near the camera mounting area.
