Jeep Renegade ADAS Calibration

The Jeep Renegade shares its FCA Small Wide platform with the Fiat 500X – same sensor positions, same calibration approach. Production is ending in late 2025, but the Renegade's large UK parc means calibration demand will continue for years. LaneSense, ACC, and Forward Collision Warning all use sensors behind the bumper and windscreen that need recalibration after bodywork.

ADAS Systems on Your Jeep Renegade

The Renegade (2018+ facelift) carries FCA-era ADAS:

  • LaneSense Lane Departure Warning-Plus – Camera behind the windscreen providing lane departure warning with steering assistance
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) – Front radar behind the bumper
  • Forward Collision Warning with Active Braking – AEB using radar and camera data
  • Blind Spot Monitoring (BSM) – Rear radar sensors in bumper corners
  • Rear Cross Path Detection (RCTA) – Cross-traffic alert when reversing
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – Camera-based
  • Intelligent Speed Assist (ISA) – Camera-based speed limit recognition

The Renegade shares its platform with the Fiat 500X and Jeep Compass. Sensor positions are similar across all three. Dashboard warnings use FCA-era branding – LaneSense and ParkSense – rather than the Stellantis-era terminology found on the newer Avenger.

Common Renegade ADAS Triggers

After Front Bumper Repair

The Renegade's compact SUV bumper sits at barrier and bollard height – parking damage is common. The front radar powers ACC and Forward Collision Warning. Any bumper work shifts this sensor. Radar calibration at £349 restores both systems.

After Windscreen Replacement

LaneSense, TSR, and ISA use the windscreen camera. After glass replacement, all camera-dependent systems need recalibration – our £199 Windscreen Calibration.

LaneSense and ParkSense Warnings

"LaneSense unavailable" and "ParkSense malfunction" are the most common dashboard warnings after repairs. These FCA-era terms are specific to Jeep – most general garages don't recognise them. Our diagnostic equipment reads all Jeep-specific fault codes.

End of Production, Ongoing Calibration Need

The Renegade's production is ending, but the model has been sold since 2014 with a significant UK presence. These vehicles will need calibration services for many years as they undergo routine maintenance, collision repairs, and windscreen replacements.

Jeep Renegade ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Jeep Renegade

Yes. The Renegade and Fiat 500X share the FCA Small Wide platform with similar sensor positions. The Renegade uses Jeep's LaneSense branding while the 500X uses Fiat terminology, but the underlying hardware and calibration approach overlap significantly.
