ADAS Calibration for Lynk & Co models

Lynk & Co's subscription model means your car may have had three different drivers this year - and none of them reported the parking knock that shifted the front radar. With vehicles rotating between subscribers, minor bumps go unlogged, windscreen claims stack up, and ADAS faults accumulate without a single owner tracking the history. Our IMI-certified technicians calibrate Lynk & Co Pilot Assist systems using the same procedures proven on the Volvo XC40, from £199, at 70+ UK workshops.

Lynk & Co ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Lynk & Co model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Lynk & Co model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Lynk & Co ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Lynk & Co vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Lynk & Co with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Lynk & Co ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Lynk & Co models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Lynk & Co, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Lynk & Co ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Lynk & Co uses Volvo-derived ADAS technology adapted for its CMA platform. The system names:

  • Pilot Assist - Level 2 semi-autonomous driving combining adaptive cruise control with active steering assistance to maintain lane position
  • Highway Assist (HWA) - motorway-specific driver assistance using Pilot Assist at higher speeds
  • Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) - extends Pilot Assist to low-speed stop-and-go traffic
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) - radar-based cruise that adjusts speed to surrounding traffic
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) - collision avoidance with pedestrian and cyclist detection
  • Forward Collision Warning (FCW) - visual and audible alert before AEB activates
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) - corrective steering when drifting from lane
  • Lane Centring Assist (LCA) - active centring within the lane, used by Pilot Assist
  • Blind Spot Detection (BSD) - warns of vehicles in adjacent lanes using rear bumper sensors
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) - detects crossing traffic when reversing
  • 360-degree Surround View Camera - four exterior cameras for parking assistance
  • Traffic Sign Recognition - reads speed limits via the front camera

The front-facing camera sits behind the rear-view mirror. The radar is integrated into the front grille area. Both sensor positions are identical to the Volvo XC40 - same hardware, same calibration targets.

When Your Lynk & Co Needs Recalibration

The Subscription Problem

Lynk & Co vehicles change drivers regularly. A subscriber returns the car, the next one picks it up - and nobody flags the scrape on the front bumper or the chip in the windscreen that was filled rather than replaced. If your Lynk & Co's Pilot Assist is behaving erratically, Forward Collision Warning is intermittent, or ACC won't engage, a previous incident may have shifted the sensors without anyone realising.

After Windscreen Replacement

The camera behind the windscreen powers AEB, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, and feeds into Pilot Assist. Replacing the glass means the camera must be recalibrated. If your windscreen fitter couldn't complete the calibration, we handle it - it's the same procedure we perform on Volvo XC40 vehicles daily.

After Bumper Repair or Collision

The front radar behind the grille powers ACC and AEB. Any bumper removal - whether for collision repair, cosmetic work, or access to other components - can shift the radar alignment. If your Lynk & Co's cruise control stopped working after bodywork, radar recalibration is needed.

Pilot Assist Not Engaging on the Motorway

If Pilot Assist won't activate or disengages unexpectedly, the front camera and radar may be out of alignment. This is a common post-repair complaint. Both sensors must work in sync for Pilot Assist to function - if either has been disturbed, the system won't engage.

Lynk & Co Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The 01 is Lynk & Co's plug-in hybrid SUV with the full Pilot Assist suite including ACC, AEB, Lane Keeping, Blind Spot Detection, and 360-degree camera. The 02 is the fully electric model with a 16-point ADAS system on the CMA-derived platform.

We calibrate ADAS systems on both Lynk & Co models. The 01 and 02 share the CMA platform with the Volvo XC40 and Polestar 2.
