ADAS Systems on the Mercedes EQA

The EQA (H243, 2021+) shares the EVA compact electric platform with the EQB. Despite its smaller crossover body, the EQA carries the same full ADAS configuration:

• DISTRONIC – adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, integrating with the EQA's regenerative braking for efficient electric driving.
• Active Brake Assist – automatic emergency braking via front radar and multifunction camera.
• Active Lane Keeping Assist – camera-based lane detection with steering correction.
• Blind Spot Assist – rear-mounted radar sensors. Standard on Progressive and AMG Line trims.
• PRE-SAFE – pre-collision occupant protection.

The EQA's front radar sits behind the star badge – identical placement to models like the C-Class and GLC. The multifunction camera behind the windscreen handles lane keeping, traffic signs, and high beams simultaneously.
