Peugeot e-3008 ADAS Calibration

The Peugeot e-3008 is not simply an electric version of the previous 3008 – it is a completely new vehicle built on Stellantis's STLA Medium platform, with a redesigned sensor architecture that differs from the EMP2-based ICE 3008. New camera housing, repositioned radar, and a more integrated Drive Assist suite mean that calibration procedures from the previous generation do not carry over. If your e-3008's ADAS systems have deactivated after a repair, it needs technicians equipped for the STLA platform.

ADAS Systems on Your Peugeot e-3008

The e-3008 (2024+, STLA Medium platform) carries Peugeot's most advanced Drive Assist package – a step beyond the outgoing EMP2-based 3008:

  • Active Safety Brake 2.0 – next-generation AEB with wider-angle camera and upgraded radar fusion. Detects pedestrians, cyclists, and motorcyclists. Standard across all trims.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – radar behind the front bumper, integrated with the electric drivetrain's regenerative braking for seamless deceleration.
  • Active Lane Positioning – an evolution beyond basic lane keeping. The windscreen camera positions the vehicle within the lane rather than just preventing departure.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring – rear quarter sensors, standard on Allure and above.
  • Visio Park 360° Camera – four surround-view cameras for parking assistance.
  • Long Range Blind Spot Monitoring – extended detection range at motorway speeds on GT trims.

The STLA Medium platform uses a different sensor mounting arrangement to the EMP2 architecture. The forward camera sits in an updated i-Cockpit housing, and the radar module has been repositioned within the new bumper design.

Why the e-3008 Requires Platform-Specific Calibration

New platform – new sensor positions

The STLA Medium platform is not a modified EMP2. Sensor mounting points, camera angles, and radar positions are redesigned. Technicians need the latest Stellantis diagnostic protocols – calibration data from the outgoing 3008 will not produce correct results.

Windscreen replacement

The e-3008's forward camera sits in a redesigned housing behind the windscreen. After glass replacement, camera calibration must follow the STLA Medium procedure. If your glass company couldn't complete it, we have the equipment.

Regenerative braking and ACC coordination

The e-3008's ACC coordinates with regen braking, but the STLA Medium platform handles this differently to the eCMP-based e-208 – a heavier vehicle and more aggressive regen profiles mean precise radar calibration is essential for smooth deceleration.

Peugeot e-3008 ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Peugeot e-3008

No. The e-3008 is a ground-up new design on the STLA Medium platform — different from the EMP2 platform used by the previous 3008. Sensor positions, camera housing, and calibration procedures are all different. Make sure your calibration provider has STLA Medium capability.
