Renault Master ADAS Calibration

A Renault Master with Active Emergency Braking that isn't working is 2.5 tonnes of large van without its most important collision prevention system. The latest Master (2019+ facelift and all-new 2024 model) comes with AEB and Lane Departure Warning as standard – and both need recalibrating after body repairs that fleet vans encounter regularly. ADAS Line calibrates Renault Master ADAS systems from £199 at 70+ UK workshops with fixed pricing.

ADAS Systems on the Renault Master

The Master's ADAS package is simpler than Renault's passenger cars but covers the critical safety systems. Configuration depends on model year:

All-new Master (2024+):

  • Active Emergency Braking (AEB) – front radar behind the bumper. Standard across all variants including panel van, platform cab, and chassis cab.
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – windscreen-mounted camera, standard.
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) – active steering correction, available on higher trims.
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) – camera-based, displays speed limits.
  • Blind Spot Warning (BSW) – available on longer wheelbase variants where blind spots are most severe.

Facelift Master (2019–2024):

  • Active Emergency Braking (AEB) – front radar, standard on most trims.
  • Lane Departure Warning (LDW) – windscreen camera, available on Business+ and above.
  • No ACC, no BSW on this generation.

Pre-2019 Master:

  • Rear parking sensors only. No camera or radar ADAS – no calibration required after repairs.

When Your Master Needs Recalibration

After front-end repairs – the Master's front bumper takes significant abuse in commercial use: loading bay contacts, low-speed manoeuvring incidents, and urban delivery collisions. On 2019+ models, every front bumper repair means the radar sensor has potentially shifted. AEB stays disabled until the radar is recalibrated to manufacturer specification. For a vehicle this size, losing AEB is a serious safety gap.

After windscreen replacement – large van windscreens are expensive and frequently damaged by road debris. When the Master's windscreen is replaced, the forward camera controlling LDW (and LKA/TSR on the 2024 model) needs recalibration. Fleet operators with duty-of-care policies cannot run vehicles with disabled safety systems – our £199 windscreen calibration resolves this.

After collision repair on fleet vehicles – Masters involved in incidents often return from the body shop with functional bodywork but uncalibrated sensors. The body shop fixes what it can see – but the radar behind the bumper and camera behind the windscreen need specialist recalibration that most body shops don't provide.

Renault Master ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Renault Master

Yes — the 2019+ facelift Master has Active Emergency Braking and Lane Departure Warning. The all-new 2024 Master expanded this to include LKA, TSR, and BSW. Pre-2019 models only have parking sensors and don't require ADAS calibration.
