ADAS Calibration for Rolls-Royce models

Fewer than 200 workshops in the UK have ever worked on a Rolls-Royce - and fewer still understand the ADAS systems behind that Spirit of Ecstasy. The engineering beneath uses BMW-derived sensor hardware: the same radar, the same cameras, the same calibration targets our technicians work with every day. From Active Cruise Control on a Ghost to Night Vision on a Cullinan, we calibrate Rolls-Royce ADAS systems from £199, at 70+ UK workshops.

Rolls-Royce ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Rolls-Royce model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Rolls-Royce model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Rolls-Royce ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Rolls-Royce vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Rolls-Royce with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Rolls-Royce ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Rolls-Royce models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Rolls-Royce, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Rolls-Royce ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Rolls-Royce does not bundle its ADAS under a single suite name - each feature is listed individually. Here's what the range offers:

  • Active Cruise Control - radar-based cruise that adjusts to surrounding traffic, available across the current range
  • Active Cruise Control with Steering and Lane Guide Assistance - the most advanced system, exclusive to the Spectre, providing Level 2 hands-free capability up to 36 mph and assisted driving up to 130 mph
  • Active Emergency Braking - automatic braking when a collision is detected
  • Lane Keeping Assistant - steers back into lane if you drift without indicating
  • Lane Departure Warning - audible and visual alert when leaving your lane
  • Lane Change Assistant - monitors adjacent lanes during indicator-signalled overtakes
  • Blind Spot Detection - warns of vehicles in your blind spot via rear bumper-mounted sensors
  • Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection - thermal infrared camera detecting pedestrians and animals in darkness, available on Phantom and Cullinan
  • Surround View System - four exterior cameras providing a bird's-eye parking view
  • Speed Limit Info - reads road signs via the front camera

The front-facing camera sits behind the rear-view mirror. The radar is integrated into the front bumper. On Phantom and Cullinan, a front-mounted infrared camera adds Night Vision capability.

When Your Rolls-Royce Needs ADAS Recalibration

After Windscreen Replacement

The forward-facing camera on every current Rolls-Royce is bonded to the windscreen. When the glass is replaced - whether at a specialist glazier or during body shop work - the camera must be recalibrated. Lane Keeping Assistant, Active Emergency Braking, and Speed Limit Info all depend on it. If your glazier couldn't complete the calibration, we handle it using the same procedures proven on BMW vehicles.

After Bumper or Front-End Repair

The radar sensor behind the front bumper powers Active Cruise Control and Active Emergency Braking. The 2024 Ghost facelift introduced a more prominent ADAS sensor housing in the front bumper - body shops repairing Rolls-Royce front ends must ensure the radar is recalibrated after any work that disturbs this area.

Cullinan - Most Common, Most Complex

The Cullinan is the highest-volume Rolls-Royce in the UK and carries the fullest ADAS specification: Active Cruise Control, Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection, Surround View, and Active Emergency Braking. As an SUV, it sees more parking damage and front-end encounters than the saloons - making it the Rolls-Royce we expect to calibrate most frequently.

Spectre - The EV Changing the Calibration Landscape

The Spectre introduces the most advanced ADAS in the Rolls-Royce range, including hands-free driving capability. As these vehicles enter the used market and independent servicing, calibration demand will grow. Our equipment supports the Spectre's full sensor suite from launch.

Rolls-Royce Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The Cullinan is the most ADAS-equipped Rolls-Royce, with Active Cruise Control, Night Vision, Surround View, and Active Emergency Braking. The Spectre brings the most advanced driver assistance in the range as the first fully electric Rolls-Royce. The Ghost and Phantom round out the current Architecture of Luxury lineup.

We calibrate ADAS systems on 7 Rolls-Royce models, covering both the current Architecture of Luxury platform and earlier BMW 7 Series-derived models.

Rolls-Royce ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your Rolls-Royce

The underlying sensor hardware is BMW-derived, and calibration principles are shared. However, the bespoke Architecture of Luxury platform means some sensor mounting positions differ slightly from BMW equivalents. Our technicians are trained on both BMW and Rolls-Royce-specific configurations.
