Rolls-Royce Ghost ADAS Calibration

The 2024 Ghost facelift introduced a visibly prominent ADAS sensor housing in the front bumper – the first time Rolls-Royce has made the technology this externally obvious. Body shops repairing the facelifted Ghost will encounter this new sensor array, and any bumper work must account for its recalibration. Whether you have the pre-facelift or updated Ghost, our IMI-certified technicians calibrate both configurations using BMW-derived procedures.

ADAS Systems on Your Rolls-Royce Ghost

The current Ghost (2020+) sits on the Architecture of Luxury platform:

  • Active Cruise Control – radar-based adaptive cruise
  • Active Emergency Braking – automatic braking when a collision is detected
  • Lane Departure Warning – audible and visual alert when crossing lane markings
  • Night Vision with Pedestrian Detection – infrared camera detecting pedestrians and animals in darkness (available on higher specifications)
  • Surround View System – four exterior cameras for parking
  • Speed Limit Info – camera-based speed sign recognition
  • Blind Spot Detection – rear bumper sensors for adjacent lane monitoring

The 2024 facelift added an improved ADAS sensor array with a more prominent housing in the front bumper. The front radar, windscreen camera, and Night Vision infrared sensor (where fitted) are all separate calibration points.

Common Ghost ADAS Triggers

After Bumper Repair – Especially the 2024 Facelift

The 2024 Ghost's redesigned front bumper makes the ADAS sensor housing physically prominent. Any bumper repair or replacement must account for this sensor. Pre-facelift Ghost models (2020–2023) have a more concealed radar position, but calibration is equally necessary after bodywork.

After Windscreen Replacement

Active Emergency Braking, Lane Departure Warning, and Speed Limit Info all depend on the windscreen camera. Every glass replacement requires recalibration – our windscreen calibration at £199 covers this using the same procedures proven on BMW vehicles.

Night Vision Faults After Front-End Work

If your Ghost has Night Vision, the infrared camera in the front bumper area needs separate calibration after any work in that zone. This is a distinct calibration point from the radar and windscreen camera. See all Rolls-Royce models

Rolls-Royce Ghost ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Rolls-Royce Ghost

The 2024 facelift introduced an improved sensor array with a more prominent housing in the front bumper, but the core ADAS systems — Active Cruise Control, Active Emergency Braking, Night Vision — remain functionally the same. Calibration procedures are updated for the new sensor positioning.
