Škoda Enyaq ADAS Calibration

The Škoda Enyaq iV carries 12 sensors across its body – front radar, windscreen camera, four ultrasonic parking arrays, side radars, and up to four surround-view cameras on Sportline and L&K trims. Built on the same MEB electric platform as the Škoda Elroq, its sensor architecture differs from every combustion-engined Škoda. When any one of those sensors falls out of alignment, the systems it feeds – from Travel Assist to automated parking – deactivate until recalibrated.

ADAS Systems on the Škoda Enyaq

The Enyaq launched in 2021 as Škoda's first dedicated electric vehicle. Its ADAS package reflects the MEB platform's clean-sheet design:

  • Front Assist – AEB using a bumper-integrated radar (lower position than grille-mounted sensors on the Octavia or Kodiaq).
  • ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) – Predictive, with road sign and GPS data integration on Sportline and above.
  • Lane Assist – Windscreen camera with active steering correction.
  • Travel Assist – Semi-autonomous driving combining ACC and Lane Assist. Standard on higher trims.
  • Side Assist – Rear corner radar sensors for blind spot monitoring and lane change support.
  • Rear Traffic Alert – Cross-traffic detection when reversing.
  • Park Assist Plus – Automated parking using ultrasonic sensors.
  • Area View – 360-degree surround camera on L&K trim.

The Enyaq Coupé iV shares identical ADAS hardware – both body styles calibrate to the same specification.

Common Enyaq ADAS Triggers

Front Bumper Damage

The Enyaq's front radar sits lower in the bumper than on MQB-based Škodas, making it more vulnerable to car park kerbs and minor front-end contacts. If your Enyaq's ACC and Front Assist deactivated after a light bump, the radar may have shifted.

After Windscreen Replacement

The Enyaq's windscreen camera controls Lane Assist, Travel Assist, and sign recognition for predictive ACC. After glass replacement, static windscreen calibration is required – the Enyaq's raked windscreen angle means precise target positioning is essential.

Post-Collision Multi-System Faults

The Enyaq has sensors across the entire vehicle. A collision affecting more than one body panel can trigger faults across multiple systems simultaneously – Front Assist, ACC, and Area View may all deactivate at once. Our Full System Reset covers every sensor in a single appointment.

Škoda Enyaq ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Škoda Enyaq

The Enyaq and Elroq share the MEB platform and the same fundamental sensor architecture — bumper-integrated front radar, windscreen camera, and rear corner radars. The Enyaq has more sensors overall (especially on L&K with Area View), but the calibration procedure for shared systems is identical. Our technicians handle both models.
