ADAS Systems on the Citroën C1

The C1 was a city car designed for simplicity and low running costs. Unlike the C3 and C4 which sit on the CMP platform with full ADAS suites, the C1 has:

• No forward-facing camera – no Active Safety Brake, no lane keeping, no traffic sign recognition
• No front radar – no adaptive cruise control
• Rear parking sensors – available on higher trims, ultrasonic only
• Speed limiter – manual, not camera-assisted

Without camera or radar sensors, the C1 does not require ADAS calibration after windscreen replacement or bumper repair.

When Might a Citroën C1 Need Attention

Parking Sensor Issues

If your C1 has rear parking sensors and they've stopped working after a bumper repair, the ultrasonic sensors may need reconfiguring. This is a simpler process than full ADAS calibration and does not involve cameras or radar.

Upgrading to a Newer Citroën

If you're moving from a C1 to a C3 or C3 Aircross, your new car will have Active Safety Brake and other camera-based systems that do require calibration after windscreen or bumper work. See all Citroën models we calibrate
