Genesis GV60 ADAS Calibration

The GV60 is the most sensor-dense Genesis – and one of the most calibration-intensive vehicles in the Hyundai Motor Group. Built on the E-GMP 800V platform shared with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, it carries corner radars, a Driver Monitoring System infrared camera, and the full HDA II suite. After a collision, the GV60 can require calibration at more sensor points than any other Genesis model.

The GV60 (2022+) sits on the E-GMP dedicated electric platform:

  • Highway Driving Assist II (HDA II) – Level 2+ with machine-learning cruise, lane centring, and assisted lane changes using front camera, radar, and corner radars
  • Navigation-based Smart Cruise Control (NSCC) – map-based speed pre-adjustment
  • Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) – full AEB with pedestrian, cyclist, and junction detection
  • Lane Following Assist (LFA) – active lane centring
  • Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) – active steering intervention during lane changes
  • Driver Monitoring System (DMS) – infrared camera monitoring driver attention, required for HDA II
  • Remote Smart Parking Assist (RSPA) – remote parking via ultrasonic sensors and surround cameras
  • Surround View Monitor (SVM) – four-camera bird's-eye parking view

The E-GMP platform positions the front radar behind the bumper, the camera at the windscreen top, and corner radars at all four corners – more sensor points than the M3-platform Genesis models. The DMS infrared camera faces the driver from the steering column.

Why Your Genesis GV60 Needs ADAS Calibration

After Any Collision

The GV60 has sensors at every corner of the vehicle. A front-end collision affects the main radar and front corner radars. A rear impact can shift the rear corner radars and BCA sensors. Even a side scrape near a corner radar can disable HDA II's lane-change capability. Multiple sensors often need calibration simultaneously.

After Windscreen Replacement

The forward camera is critical for FCA, LFA, and NSCC. The GV60's windscreen shape is specific to the E-GMP platform – calibration targets must reflect this geometry. Our windscreen calibration at £199 uses the correct specifications for the GV60.

E-GMP Platform Complexity
