The U25's side radar sensors are unique among MINIs – they add calibration points that the F60 and other MINI models do not have.

When Your MINI Countryman Needs ADAS Calibration

After Front-End Collision or Bumper Repair

Both generations have a front radar behind the grille. The U25 adds side radar and 12 ultrasonic sensors, meaning a front-end collision can affect more systems simultaneously. Radar recalibration at £349 covers the primary sensor; a Full System Reset at £499 covers everything.

After Windscreen Replacement

AEB, Lane Departure Warning, Highway Assistant (U25), and Speed Limit Info all depend on the windscreen camera. Every glass replacement requires recalibration – our windscreen calibration at £199 uses BMW/MINI ISTA procedures matched to your Countryman's generation.

Side Impact and Highway Assistant (U25 Only)

The U25 Countryman's side radar sensors enable Highway Assistant's hands-free driving and automatic lane changes. A side panel repair or impact near these sensors can disable Highway Assistant entirely. This is a calibration point that no previous MINI has required. See all MINI models
