Peugeot e-2008 ADAS Calibration

Active Safety Brake unavailable. Lane Keeping Assist deactivated. If your Peugeot e-2008's dashboard lit up after a bumper repair or windscreen replacement, the ADAS sensors have lost their alignment. The e-2008 sits on the same eCMP platform as the e-208 but with a taller SUV body – the higher ride height means the front radar takes impacts at a different angle. ADAS Line recalibrates all e-2008 Drive Assist systems at 70+ UK workshops.

ADAS Systems on Your Peugeot e-2008

The e-2008 (2020+, eCMP platform) is the electric version of Peugeot's compact SUV. It carries the full Drive Assist package with identical sensor hardware to the petrol/diesel 2008 – same camera position, same radar placement, same calibration requirements.

  • Active Safety Brake – Peugeot's AEB system using windscreen camera and front radar. Standard across all trims.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – radar-based, behind the front bumper. Coordinates with regenerative braking on the electric drivetrain – accurate radar data is essential for smooth regen-to-friction braking transitions.
  • Lane Keeping Assist – camera-based corrective steering. Recalibration required after every windscreen replacement.
  • Lane Departure Warning – audible and visual alerts using the same windscreen camera.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring – rear quarter radar sensors on Allure and GT trims.
  • Rear Parking Camera – single rear camera, recalibration needed if the rear bumper is refitted.

The e-2008's crossover body positions the front radar higher than the e-208 – more exposed to car park and roundabout impacts rather than kerb-level damage.

Common Triggers for e-2008 Calibration

Front bumper repair

The e-2008's front radar sits behind the bumper panel. After any front panel work – collision repair, bumper replacement, even parking sensor installation – the radar needs recalibrating to restore ACC and Active Safety Brake.

Windscreen replacement

Every windscreen swap requires camera recalibration. The i-Cockpit camera behind the rearview mirror controls Lane Keeping Assist and contributes to Active Safety Brake. If your glass company couldn't complete the calibration, we handle it.

Stellantis platform sharing

The e-2008 shares its sensor platform with the Vauxhall Mokka-e and Citroen e-C4. Body shops working across Stellantis EVs will find consistent sensor positions – but each brand requires its own diagnostic software and protocols.

Peugeot e-2008 ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Peugeot e-2008

The sensor hardware and calibration process are identical — both use the CMP platform. The difference is that the e-2008's ACC integrates with regenerative braking, so accurate radar calibration matters for smooth deceleration as well as safety functions.
