Peugeot Traveller ADAS Calibration

Shuttle operators, taxi companies, and private owners rely on the Peugeot Traveller to move passengers safely – and Adaptive Cruise Control going offline after a bumper repair is a problem that affects both safety and business. The Traveller (2016+) is the passenger variant of the Expert, sharing the same EMP2 platform and sensor layout but carrying a fuller ADAS specification suited to people-carrying duties. ADAS Line recalibrates all Traveller ADAS systems at 70+ UK workshops with fixed, published pricing.

ADAS Systems on Your Peugeot Traveller

The Traveller (2016+) shares its Stellantis large-vehicle platform with the Expert, Citroen SpaceTourer, and Vauxhall Vivaro Life – same sensor hardware and mounting points, Peugeot-specific software and system naming.

Standard across all 2016+ Traveller variants:

  • Active Safety Brake – windscreen camera AEB with vehicle and pedestrian detection. Standard on all body lengths (Compact, Standard, Long).
  • Lane Departure Warning – audible and visual alerts when drifting without indicating.
  • Driver Attention Alert – steering pattern monitoring for drowsiness on long journeys.

Available on higher trims (Allure, GT):

  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go – radar behind the front bumper. Essential for shuttle and taxi work.
  • Lane Keeping Assist – active steering correction via the windscreen camera.
  • Blind Spot Monitoring – rear quarter radar sensors, valuable given the Traveller's long body and large blind spots.

The Traveller's larger body compared to the Rifter means more surface area exposed to car park and depot impacts. The flat front panel places the radar in a vulnerable position.

Peugeot Traveller – Common ADAS Calibration Triggers

Airport and hotel shuttle use

Travellers in shuttle service operate in high-traffic environments – airport pick-up zones, hotel forecourts, narrow car parks. Frequent low-speed manoeuvring shifts radar alignment. Active Safety Brake and ACC will display faults after even minor front-panel displacement.

Windscreen replacement on high-mileage vehicles

Shuttle and taxi Travellers accumulate motorway mileage quickly, leading to frequent windscreen damage. Every windscreen replacement requires camera recalibration to restore Lane Keeping Assist and Active Safety Brake. See our windscreen replacement guide.

Post-collision return to licensed service

Private hire and taxi operators need documented proof that safety systems work before returning to licensed service after collision repair. Our calibration certificate confirms ADAS functionality to manufacturer specifications – essential for licensing authorities. See our collision calibration service.

Peugeot Traveller ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Peugeot Traveller

The Traveller uses identical sensor hardware in the same positions as the Expert — both share the EMP2 large-vehicle platform. The passenger Traveller often comes with a higher standard ADAS specification, but calibration procedures are the same for shared systems.
