Rolls-Royce Wraith ADAS Calibration

The Wraith was Rolls-Royce's fastback coupe – discontinued in 2023 but still a regular presence on UK roads. Like the Dawn, it sits on the older BMW 7 Series (F01) platform with basic Active Cruise Control and Collision Warning. No automatic emergency braking, no lane keeping – but the front radar still needs calibration after bumper work, and the Wraith's low, wide stance means front-end contact is more common than the name suggests.

ADAS Systems on Your Rolls-Royce Wraith

The Wraith (2013–2023) uses the earlier BMW 7 Series-derived platform with limited ADAS:

  • Active Cruise Control – radar-based adaptive cruise
  • Collision Warning – alerts to imminent collisions, but does not brake automatically
  • Surround View System – four exterior cameras for parking
  • Speed Limit Info – camera-based speed sign recognition on later models

The Wraith's ADAS is significantly simpler than the current Architecture of Luxury models. No AEB, no lane keeping, no Night Vision. The front radar sits behind the bumper, and the forward camera is at the windscreen top.

When Your Rolls-Royce Wraith Needs Calibration

After Front Bumper Repair

The Wraith's coupe proportions create a long, low front end that contacts kerbs, parking barriers, and bollards more readily than a standard saloon. The radar behind the bumper powers Active Cruise Control – any bumper repair that shifts this sensor means ACC stops working until recalibrated.

After Windscreen Replacement

The windscreen camera supports Speed Limit Info and collision warning accuracy. On the Wraith's raked coupe windscreen, camera alignment is geometry-sensitive. Our windscreen calibration at £199 accounts for the Wraith's specific windscreen angle.

Discontinued Model, Ongoing Needs

The Wraith is no longer in production, but its BMW-derived hardware means our equipment and procedures remain fully compatible. See all Rolls-Royce models

Rolls-Royce Wraith ADAS Calibration — FAQ

Common questions about calibrating ADAS systems on the Rolls-Royce Wraith

No. The Wraith has Collision Warning, which alerts you, but does not brake automatically. AEB is available on the newer Ghost (2020+) and Cullinan on the Architecture of Luxury platform.
