Does my Legacy have EyeSight?

EyeSight was available on UK Legacy models from approximately 2014. If your dashboard has an EyeSight indicator and adaptive cruise control, your Legacy has the stereo camera system. Earlier Legacy models without EyeSight do not need ADAS calibration.

Is the Legacy's older EyeSight still calibratable?

Yes — earlier EyeSight systems with black-and-white cameras use the same Subaru-specific calibration targets. Our equipment supports both older and current EyeSight generations. The Outback of the same era uses the same camera generation and calibration process.

Does the Legacy have front radar?

No — the Legacy uses EyeSight stereo cameras without front bumper radar, the same as the Forester, Outback, and Crosstrek. Bumper work doesn't trigger ADAS faults on the Legacy.

Subaru Legacy ADAS Calibration

The Legacy was Subaru's executive saloon – discontinued in the UK but still present on the road, particularly among Subaru enthusiasts. EyeSight was available on the Legacy from around 2014, making it one of the earlier UK Subaru models to carry the stereo camera system. If your Legacy has EyeSight and needs a windscreen replacement, both cameras must be recalibrated using Subaru-specific targets.

When Your Subaru Legacy Needs Calibration

After Windscreen Replacement

Both EyeSight cameras are bonded to the windscreen. A glass replacement requires recalibration. Our Windscreen Calibration at £199 covers both cameras using Subaru-approved targets.

"EyeSight Disabled" Warning

If the Legacy displays "EyeSight Disabled," the stereo cameras have lost alignment. All connected systems – Pre-Collision Braking, Adaptive Cruise, and Lane Departure Warning – go offline until recalibrated.

Discontinued Model – Still Supported

The Legacy is no longer sold new in the UK, but our calibration equipment fully supports all Subaru EyeSight models. The stereo camera targets are the same across the Subaru range.
