ADAS Calibration for Maserati models

The radar on your Maserati sits directly behind the Trident badge on the front grille - a design detail that means any grille repair, respray, or front-end work puts the sensor out of alignment. From Highway Assist System faults on a Grecale to Active Blind Spot Assist warnings on a Levante, our IMI-certified technicians calibrate every Maserati ADAS system using OEM-grade equipment. Nationwide coverage at 70+ UK workshops, from £199.

Maserati ADAS Calibration Cost

Calibration costs depend on your specific Maserati model, which ADAS systems need recalibration, and whether mobile or workshop service is required.

Every Maserati model has different ADAS sensors fitted depending on trim level and year. Share your registration and we’ll confirm exactly which systems need calibration.

What Maserati ADAS Calibration Involves

The three most common calibration scenarios for Maserati vehicles — each linked to a dedicated service page.

£199 Starting price

Windscreen Camera Recalibration

Every Maserati with a forward-facing camera — including models with Lane Departure Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Autonomous Emergency Braking — requires camera recalibration after windscreen replacement. This is the most common Maserati ADAS job we carry out.

Radar & Sensor Alignment

Maserati models fitted with Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Detection, or Rear Cross Traffic Alert carry radar modules behind the bumper or grille. Any bodywork repair or bumper removal requires sensor recalibration using manufacturer-specific targets and procedures.

Post-Collision Full Check

After any collision repair involving a Maserati, multiple ADAS sensors may be disturbed simultaneously — including cameras, radar modules, and parking sensors. A comprehensive post-collision calibration restores every system to factory tolerances and satisfies insurer documentation requirements.

Maserati ADAS Systems We Calibrate

Maserati's ADAS lineup centres on the Highway Assist System (HAS) - a Level 2 package that combines adaptive cruise control with active lane centring for semi-autonomous motorway driving. Here is how Maserati names each system:

  • Highway Assist System (HAS) - Level 2 autonomy combining ACC with Stop & Go, Lane Keeping Assist, and active steering for motorway lane centring
  • Forward Automatic Emergency Braking - detects vehicles and pedestrians, applies emergency braking if the driver does not react
  • Forward Collision Warning Plus (FCW+) - visual and audible alert before AEB activation
  • Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go - radar-based speed and distance management through traffic queues
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) - corrective steering when drifting without indicating
  • Active Blind Spot Assist (ABSA) - not just a warning light; ABSA applies corrective steering if you attempt a lane change into an occupied blind spot
  • Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA) - detects approaching vehicles when reversing from parking
  • Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) - camera-based speed limit and sign detection
  • Surround View Camera System - four cameras (front, rear, both mirrors) providing a bird's-eye parking view

The forward camera sits behind the interior rear-view mirror. The front radar hides behind the Trident badge on the grille. Rear radar sensors in the bumper power RCTA. Bosch supplies the vision processing and sensor modules across the range.

Common Reasons Maserati Owners Contact Us

After Grille or Front-End Repair

Maserati positions its radar sensor behind the iconic Trident badge. Even a cosmetic grille swap or front-end respray can shift the radar enough to disable Adaptive Cruise Control and Forward Automatic Emergency Braking. If your cruise control stopped working after body shop work, the radar needs recalibration.

After Windscreen Replacement

The forward-facing camera behind the rear-view mirror powers HAS, Lane Keeping Assist, TSR, and Pedestrian Detection. When the glass is swapped, camera alignment changes - requiring static recalibration before these systems function again. If your windscreen fitter couldn't complete the ADAS calibration, we finish the job.

Active Blind Spot Assist Warnings

ABSA is an active intervention system - it does not just flash a warning light but applies corrective steering if you drift toward an occupied lane. If the rear-quarter sensors are misaligned after a side repair, the system may intervene unexpectedly or fail to intervene when needed. Both outcomes are dangerous and require immediate sensor calibration.

Grecale - Stellantis Platform Advantage

The Grecale shares its Giorgio platform with Alfa Romeo and Jeep models. Our technicians calibrate Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Giulia regularly - the sensor positions and calibration procedures are directly transferable. If you drive a Grecale, we already know the platform.

Maserati Models - Full ADAS Calibration Coverage

The Grecale is Maserati's volume model in the UK - available in GT, Modena, Trofeo, and Folgore (full EV) trims, all with full HAS including Active Blind Spot Assist. The GranTurismo and GranCabrio share the updated Giorgio 1.5 platform with identical ADAS specification. The Levante adds Hill Descent Control to the suite.

We calibrate ADAS systems on 7 Maserati models across four platform architectures.

Maserati ADAS Calibration — Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about ADAS calibration for your Maserati

The front radar sensor sits directly behind the Trident badge on the grille. Removing, replacing, or respraying the grille changes the sensor's alignment – even by a fraction of a degree. This disables ACC, Forward AEB, and Forward Collision Warning. Recalibration restores all three systems.
